Photography Policies and Procedures

Photography for all sports will be handled by the Photography Coordinator(s). Please contact the Coordinator is you are interested in submitting a bid for the upcoming Basketball season.

 

  1. Each October/November, bids will be received and reviewed to award a photography contract for one year with Destrehan Booster Club.

 

  1. The contract season will run from the Basketball season and end after the following Football season.

 

  1. Seasons will consist of Basketball (Boys and Girls), Baseball/Softball, Football and Cheerleading.

 

  1. Bids will be presented to the Board at the December monthly board meeting.

 

  1. All Board members present at the December meeting will, by a majority vote, determine the contract award to a photographer.

 

  1. The winning photography bid will be contacted by phone by the Photography Coordinator.  All other bids will be notified by letter.

 

  1. Requirements to be met in all bids:

a.         Photographer will contact all coaches and arrange a date and time to take pictures.

b.         All team pictures must be taken within three weeks of the season beginning.

c.              Photographer must distribute all pictures to coaches in a timely manner.

d.         The photographer must contact the Photography Coordinator(s) immediately if having problems contacting a coach.

e.         The Destrehan Booster Club Board of Directors reserves the right to cancel any contract with any photographer if the Board is not satisfied with the service being provided during any season.

             f.         Each bid must consist of package description, package prices, services and items for sale.

             g.              Each bid must clearly state a list of all photographer qualifications.

             h.        Each bid must clearly state a list of all services that will be performed by photographer.

i.         Each bid must clearly state the amount that will be paid to Destrehan Booster Club per package/item sold.

j.         Each photographer will be required to sponsor one or more teams during the baseball/softball season.  Sponsor fees will also apply.

 

    8.   Each bid will need to be mailed to the Destrehan Booster Club, P.O. Box 933, Destrehan, LA 70047, prior to the December meeting.
